The long road between El Burgo Ranero and Reliegos.
Saturday 21st October: Left 6:30am arrived at Cathedral 3:15pm (37.5ks officially - 8hrs 45mins)
We arrived at the Cathedral after an unnecessary detour to the official albergue which added a kilometer or two, after already having added two kilometers upon leaving the village of El Burgo Ranero. Missed a yellow arrow in the darkness! I arrived at Puente de Villarente at 11:30am (about 25ks) and waited about 30 minutes for Pete to arrive, Dennis arriving some 15 minutes later. A pleasant coffee break. We then walked on together the final 12ks. We all suffered some little setback from this long walk - quite tedious over the final 10ks. But the day's rest after arrival was a great bonus after a week of long walks.
