Thursday 19th October: 27ks - Left 7:05am arrived 12:30pm (5hrs 25mins)A long, flat walk after the initial 5ks, at which point we had officially reached the halfway mark of our journey. Windbreaks of cotton woods broke the horizon. A wind and overcast sky the whole way, with rain settling in over the last kilometre. A cold enough day, though good for walking.
