Christ and the four gospels adorn the wall above the door of the Church at Carrion de Los Condes. We stayed here at a carmelite monastery which was clean and cheap, and where the nuns seemed more interested in obtaining foreign coins than anything else. At least that was the only point of contact we shared with them.
